One hour of Detox Flow Yoga, 10 minutes of abs, a couple of deep breaths, and a giant green smoothie of coconut water, spinach, chia seeds, lemon, vanilla rice protein powder, and stevia. Nothing better than green smoothies in the morning. Well and a giant ball of chocolatey goodness!
Yes, I know, these are not the cupcakes I said I was going to make but I forgot that I returned my mom's big food processor when I went home for Thanksgiving. I only have a mini food processor. So, I soaked and sprouted my buckwheat (sprouting is best for digestion) and threw it into my mini. Walnuts, yacon syrup, dates, raw cacao powder, mesquite powder, vanilla extract, and salt wanted to play too so into the processor they went, as well. All in all, the best thing to do with these (and the small amount of them) was to roll them into little balls and coat them with dried coconut flakes. Easy, tasty, chocolatey. I still need to make a raw cupcake recipe that I love and want to share. I'm working on it. Promise.
Other than the usual, it's been a pretty slow Friday for me. Work was slow. I finished my book, Beautiful Creatures (time to find another one!!). And no plans to leave the house tonight. It's too warm indoors.
I guess I will just have to enjoy a bowl of coconut ice cream and a chocolate coconut ball. It's a tough job but somebody has to do it.
Hope everyone has a fantastic Friday night!
